THE DETAILS

How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.

Your audiologist assesses your hearing, health history and the testing that fits; device recommendations and any onward referral follow your results, not a sales target.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Before

We send a short health questionnaire with your confirmation. Arrive ten minutes early and bring a list of medications and any previous records.

  2. During

Your clinician listens first, examines what is needed and explains every option, including doing nothing, with its price.

  3. After

You leave with a written plan, the price of every step and time to decide. Nothing is booked until you are ready.

Know the names.

The makers, products and standards we reference at a hearing-aid consultation.

Phonak / Audéo Sphere Infinio

Start with the restaurant table

Audéo Sphere Infinio uses dedicated processing to separate speech from noise. The useful consultation compares listening situations, physical fit, connectivity and individual hearing needs.

  • Describe difficult rooms and who you need to hear.
  • Ask about a listening session and adjustment visits.
  • Discuss battery, phone compatibility and realistic limitations.

Oticon / Intent

Listening intention, designed in

Oticon Intent combines sound processing with sensor information to adapt support to listening situations. Our audiologist explains what this means for conversation and lets you hear the difference.

  • Compare a quiet chat with a busier room.
  • Check compatibility with your phone and accessories.
  • Separate manufacturer features from your own verified fit.

Good to know.

Does it hurt?

Most of this visit is conversation. If a test or an examination would help, your clinician explains what it involves and what you may feel before it begins, and nothing happens without your agreement.

How soon will I see results?

You leave with a written plan and a timeline for each step, so you know what to expect before you commit to anything.

How do I prepare?

Bring your questions and anything you would like us to see, such as previous results or photographs. If a visit needs any preparation, we tell you when you book and again in your confirmation.

Questions worth bringing.

  • What should an individual assessment clarify before I consider hearing-aid consultation?
  • How will hearing-test findings and my everyday listening environments guide the options?
  • What fitting verification, trial terms, adjustments, device maintenance and follow-up are included?

Before you book.

New to Clarity Hearing? We start with a conversation, write your plan down with the price of every step and let you decide at your own pace. Suitability, risks and alternatives are decided with your clinician at your consultation.
