How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Your appointment covers style, budget, wedding date and sizing; we confirm designer availability, sample sizes, order dates, alterations and purchase terms in writing before you say yes.
Your visit, step by step
- Before
Tell us your date, your style and who is coming when you book. We pull a first edit before you arrive.
- During
Your stylist works with you one to one, in a private suite, for the whole appointment. Try as much or as little as you like.
- After
We send your favorites with prices and timings and hold your shortlist for a week. There is never pressure to decide on the day.
Know the names.
The makers, products and standards we reference when we talk about made-to-order gowns.
The architectural edit
Pronovias’ mikado collection is our starting point for A-line, ball-gown and fitted proportions. We compare the shape while you stand, sit and walk, then discuss what the bodice and fabric ask of the final fitting.
- Fabric, neckline and support assessed together
- Detachable sleeves and cape references where applicable
- Budget, the sizes we carry and alteration feasibility discussed first
The romantic texture room
Watters and Willowby give the texture conversation specific reference points, from sculptural bridal fabrics to airy lace and soft tulle. The appointment pairs close-up fabric study with a walk through natural light.
- Train length, lining and movement under different lighting
- Veil proportions shown against the complete silhouette
- Written ordering, deposit and fitting milestones
Manufacturer and product names belong to their owners and link to official information. No affiliation or authorized-provider status is implied.
Good to know.
How long is the appointment?
Plan on about 60 minutes for your fitting. We never rush, and there is always time for questions at the end.
What should I bring?
Photos you love, your date and the shoes you plan to wear, if you have them. We take care of the rest.
Can I bring guests?
Yes. Tell us who is coming when you book and we set the suite for everyone.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should I understand about the process and inclusions for made-to-order gowns?
- Which sample sizes, gown options and order lead times fit my preferences and wedding date?
- How are fittings, alterations, deposits, cancellation terms and the final purchase cost confirmed?
Before you book.
Every booking starts with a visit. We walk you through everything in person and send a written summary with pricing and dates within two business days. Final details are confirmed when we confirm your date.
“Made-to-order gowns take months, and they told me so on day one. Mine arrived early and fit after one alteration.”
