How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
We design your smile on screen, then let you wear a trial version for a few days before any tooth is prepared. The veneers are made by our ceramist and fitted at the second visit two weeks later, with a conservative preparation that keeps as much enamel as possible. Your dentist examines your teeth and gums, takes any imaging needed and talks through the options; diagnosis and an itemized cost are confirmed at that visit.

Your visit, step by step
- Before
A smile-design visit with photographs and a digital scan, then a trial smile to wear home.
- During
Conservative preparation under local anesthetic, impressions and well-made temporaries at visit one; bonding and polishing at visit two.
- After
Avoid very hard foods for a day and wear your night guard; we check the bite at two weeks.

The material behind the smile
IPS e.max CAD is a lithium-disilicate glass ceramic used for selected crowns, veneers and other restorations. Translucency and preparation matter as much as the shade photograph.
- Compare ceramic choice with the demands of the tooth.
- Ask how much healthy tooth structure would be prepared.
- Discuss bite, gum health and ongoing maintenance.

Good to know.
How long do veneers last?
Ten to fifteen years with good care; porcelain resists stains and we provide a night guard to protect them.
Can I see the result before committing?
Yes. Your trial smile is placed over your own teeth so you can see the shape before any preparation.
How many veneers do I need?
Most smiles use six to eight on the upper teeth; your dentist advises after the design visit.
Questions worth bringing.
- How would a dentist assess my enamel, gums and bite before discussing veneers?
- What tooth preparation, future replacement and repair considerations should I understand?
- Which less invasive alternatives and maintenance responsibilities should I compare?

“Porcelain veneers I was scared to ask about. They showed me a trial smile first, quoted a firm number and kept to it.”
