How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Your therapist evaluates symptoms, function and history before treatment; diagnosis, manual techniques and exercise plans follow that assessment, and we refer on when something needs another specialist.
Your visit, step by step
- Before
We send a short questionnaire with your confirmation. Arrive ten minutes early so we can talk through your history before you start moving.
- During
Your clinician guides each exercise hands-on, checks how your body responds and adjusts the load as you go.
- After
You leave with a written home program, a direct line for questions and, if you would like one, your next session already booked.

Put the movement on the map
Dual force plates record forces during selected movement tests. A clinician can use the measurements to discuss strength, loading and change over time alongside the broader examination.
- Ask which test answers your functional question.
- Compare repeat measurements under similar conditions.
- Treat the result as one input to a clinical decision.
Change the load, keep the movement
AlterG treadmills use adjustable body-weight support for selected rehabilitation and training situations. The therapist controls how that tool fits the individual loading plan.
- Discuss why reduced loading may be useful.
- Ask how support and pace are progressed.
- Connect treadmill work with the activities you want to resume.

Good to know.
Does it hurt?
Your clinician explains each exercise before you start, works within a range you can manage and adjusts the load as you go. Tell us whenever something does not feel right and we change the plan.
How soon will I see results?
We set milestones with you at the first visit, built around the activities that matter to you, and measure them at every session.
How do I prepare?
Wear clothes you can move in and bring any imaging, surgical notes or referral letters. We send preparation notes with your confirmation.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should an individual assessment clarify before I consider sports rehabilitation?
- How will the clinician assess my symptoms, functional goals and any need for medical referral?
- How are exercise progression, any manual techniques, consent and changes to the care plan reviewed?
Before you book.
