THE DETAILS

How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.

Your orthodontist examines your teeth, bite and, for younger patients, growth, and takes the records that guide treatment length and retention before any plan is set.

Your visit, step by step

  1. Before

We send a short health questionnaire with your confirmation. Arrive ten minutes early and bring a list of medications and any previous records.

  2. During

Your clinician explains each step before it happens and checks on your comfort throughout. Nothing is added to your plan without your agreement.

  3. After

You leave with written aftercare, a direct line for questions and, if you would like one, your next visit already booked.

LightForce / 3D-printed brackets

Braces with a digital blueprint

LightForce combines digital planning with customized 3D-printed braces. It offers a different appliance experience from removable trays without making the diagnosis interchangeable.

  • Compare fixed-appliance care with aligner wear.
  • Ask how the digital plan is reviewed clinically.
  • Talk through comfort, hygiene and appointment rhythm.

AAO / Age-seven check

An assessment before a treatment deadline

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic screening by age seven. An early visit can be an observation plan rather than an immediate appliance.

  • Review tooth development and the bite.
  • Ask what should be watched during growth.
  • Understand why treatment timing differs between children.

Good to know.

Does it hurt?

Your clinician explains what you may feel at each step and your comfort options before anything begins, and goes at your pace.

How soon will I see results?

Your clinician gives you a written timeline at your consultation and reviews progress with you at each follow-up.

How do I prepare?

Bring your questions and anything you would like us to see, such as previous results or photographs. If a visit needs any preparation, we tell you when you book and again in your confirmation.

Questions worth bringing.

  • What should an individual assessment clarify before I consider teen orthodontics?
  • What do my bite, oral health and any relevant growth findings mean for the available appliances?
  • How will wear expectations, review visits and the retention plan be discussed before treatment?

Before you book.

New to Arc Smile Studio? We start with a conversation, write your plan down with the price of every step and let you decide at your own pace. Suitability, risks and alternatives are decided with your clinician at your consultation.

“Teen orthodontics for two kids at once. Sofia lined up both schedules so we come in once, and texts before every visit.”
