How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
We use cooling or radiofrequency contouring for the abdomen, flanks and thighs, with no incisions and no time off. Most treated areas show a measurable reduction over eight to twelve weeks, and we plan two sessions for most areas.
- Abdomen
- Flanks
- Inner thighs
Your visit, step by step
- Before
Eat lightly, wear loose clothing and bring the measurements from your consultation.
- During
The applicator holds the area for 35 to 45 minutes while you read or rest; pressure and cold give way to numbness.
- After
Massage, light walking and a slightly tender area for a few days; the change arrives gradually from week six.

A lift with a different mechanism
Ultherapy PRIME uses focused ultrasound with imaging for its labeled nonsurgical lifting and wrinkle indications. A consultation separates laxity from volume loss and surface texture.
- Understand the area-specific indication.
- Ask what imaging contributes to the treatment plan.
- Compare ultrasound with surgery and the option of no procedure.

Good to know.
Is this a weight-loss treatment?
No. It is for defined areas on people close to the weight they want; your clinician confirms whether it suits you at the consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Two for most areas, eight weeks apart; your consultation sets the plan.
Questions worth bringing.
- How would a clinician assess whether the proposed contouring technology fits my goals and medical history?
- What does the treatment target, and how does it differ from weight-management or surgical care?
- Which device-specific risks, uncertain outcomes, alternatives and follow-up should I discuss?
