THE DETAILS

How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.

We start with the stone, showing natural and lab-grown diamonds side by side under the same light, then design the setting around it and your partner’s hand. Every ring is made in our workshop, and most are ready in four to six weeks with a lifetime care plan. A design conversation covers intended use, budget, stone preferences and timeline. Material descriptions, grading reports, sourcing, prices and warranty terms are confirmed in writing before a piece is made.

Ideal for
  • Natural and lab-grown diamonds
  • Solitaires and halos
  • Vintage-inspired settings

Your visit, step by step

  1. Before

Book a design visit; bring photographs, ring sizes if you know them and a budget range.

  2. During

Stone comparison under daylight lamps, setting sketches and a CAD render, with pricing on the spot.

  3. After

A wax model to approve, then casting, setting and collection with an appraisal.

The stone comparison appointment

We compare stones in consistent lighting with their documents beside them. GIA’s report descriptions distinguish identification, treatments and origin opinions; its updated D-to-Z laboratory-grown assessment uses different terminology from natural-diamond grading.

  • Natural or laboratory-grown identity stated explicitly
  • Report type and issue date checked for the actual stone
  • Proportions, color, care and intended wear discussed
GIA gemstone report descriptions

Manufacturer and product names belong to their owners and link to official information. No affiliation or authorized-provider status is implied.

Good to know.

Natural or lab-grown?

Both are real diamonds; we show them together and explain the price difference so you can decide.

How long does it take?

Four to six weeks for a custom ring; in-stock settings can be set within a week.

What if the size is wrong?

The first resizing is complimentary.

Questions worth bringing.

  • What should I understand about the process and inclusions for engagement rings?
  • How will stone documentation, metal specifications, design approvals and sourcing descriptions be verified?
  • Which resizing, repair, warranty and return arrangements apply to a custom or made-to-order piece?

Before you book.

Every booking starts with a visit. We walk you through everything in person and send a written summary with pricing and dates within two business days. Final details are confirmed when we confirm your date.

“Engagement rings in three visits: stone selection with Maya, a CAD rendering, then the finished ring. She said yes.”
