How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Your fertility specialist reviews your history and circumstances before any testing or treatment is discussed, and explains success rates, risks, costs and limits as they apply to you; preservation does not guarantee a future pregnancy.
Your visit, step by step
- Before
We send a short health questionnaire with your confirmation. Arrive ten minutes early and bring a list of medications and any previous records.
- During
Your clinician reviews where you are against your plan, listens to what has changed and agrees the next step with you.
- After
You leave with written notes from the visit, a direct line for questions and, if you would like one, your next visit already booked.
Know the names.
Your coordinator walks you through every medicine on your plan. These are two of the names you may hear, each linked to its maker’s own information.
Ferring MENOPUR
Menotropins, an injectable medicine used in IVF stimulation. If your protocol includes it, your coordinator walks you through the schedule, the injections and the pharmacy order.
Official informationEMD Serono GONAL-f
Follitropin alfa, an injectable medicine some stimulated cycles use. If your plan includes it, we walk you through the dose, the schedule and the monitoring visits.
Official informationManufacturer and product names belong to their owners and link to official information. No affiliation or authorized-provider status is implied.
Good to know.
What happens at a visit?
Unhurried time with your care team. At your first visit we learn what matters to you and agree a plan together; after that, each visit reviews how things are going and the next step. Nothing changes in your plan without your agreement.
How do you measure progress?
We agree a few clear milestones at the start and review them with you at every visit, so progress is measured rather than guessed.
How do I prepare?
Bring your questions and anything you would like us to see, such as previous results or photographs. If a visit needs any preparation, we tell you when you book and again in your confirmation.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should an individual assessment clarify before I consider fertility counseling & coordination?
- How will my history, age and relevant test findings shape the options and their uncertainties?
- What medication, retrieval, storage, consent and future-use costs should the clinic explain separately?
Before you book.
