How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Our electrician assesses your electrical loads, fuel supply, placement and local code; sizing, clearances, permits and installation follow code and the manufacturer’s instructions, and a standby system covers the circuits you choose for as long as its fuel lasts.
Your project, step by step
- Before
We record your system, its make, model, age and condition, and agree a schedule of visits that suits your home.
- During
A technician arrives in the booked window, works through a written checklist and photographs anything worth watching.
- After
You receive the checklist and photos the same day and a reminder before every scheduled visit. Repairs are always quoted before any work begins.
Know the names.
The makers, products and standards we reference when we talk about maintenance & exercise checks.
The readiness calendar
A generator earns its place through ongoing readiness. We pair Mobile Link status reporting with a documented exercise, fuel and maintenance plan tailored to the installed unit.
- Explain exercise versus a load-transfer test
- Record responsible service contacts and intervals
- Walk through alerts, fuel monitoring options and escalation
Manufacturer and product names belong to their owners and link to official information. No affiliation or authorized-provider status is implied.
Good to know.
How long does the work take?
Most visits take about 60 minutes. We confirm the arrival window by text the day before and send the checklist when we finish.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Routine visits rarely need either. When a repair or a replacement does, we pull the permit and book the inspection, and both are on the quote first.
What happens after the assessment?
You receive a written record of your system and a calendar of visits, and your first visit is booked before we leave.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should the site assessment and written scope establish for maintenance & exercise checks?
- Which assessed household loads, fuel arrangements and site clearances determine system sizing and placement?
- What transfer equipment, permits, commissioning, servicing and manufacturer limitations will the installer document?
Before you book.
Every project starts on site. You receive a written scope, a schedule and a price range before design begins, and nothing moves to contract until you approve it. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after your site assessment.
