How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Your solar assessment reviews usage, roof condition, shading and electrical capacity; production estimates, interconnection, incentives and financing are modeled for your actual site, and savings depend on your usage and utility rates.
Your project, step by step
- Before
We record your system, its make, model, age and condition, and agree a schedule of visits that suits your home.
- During
A technician arrives in the booked window, works through a written checklist and photographs anything worth watching.
- After
You receive the checklist and photos the same day and a reminder before every scheduled visit. Repairs are always quoted before any work begins.
Know the names.
The makers, products and standards we reference when we talk about solar monitoring.
SPAN
A smart electrical panel that shows, circuit by circuit, where your solar power goes, and lets you choose which circuits a battery keeps running in an outage.
Official informationManufacturer and product names belong to their owners and link to official information. No affiliation or authorized-provider status is implied.
Good to know.
How long does the work take?
Most visits take about 30 minutes. We confirm the arrival window by text the day before and send the checklist when we finish.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Routine visits rarely need either. When a repair or a replacement does, we pull the permit and book the inspection, and both are on the quote first.
What happens after the assessment?
You receive a written record of your system and a calendar of visits, and your first visit is booked before we leave.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should the site assessment and written scope establish for solar monitoring?
- How do roof condition, shading, usage and utility interconnection affect the proposed design?
- Which production assumptions, tariff terms, incentives, financing costs and battery limitations need independent verification?
Before you book.
Every project starts on site. You receive a written scope, a schedule and a price range before design begins, and nothing moves to contract until you approve it. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after your site assessment.
