How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Our assessment reviews structure, available space, access needs and the applicable codes; engineering, permits, inspections, load limits and installation specifications are reviewed by a licensed engineer before we commit to a date.
Your project, step by step
- Before
We visit the site, measure, photograph and talk through what you want the work to do. You receive a written scope and a price range before anything is designed or ordered.
- During
A named project manager runs the schedule, handles permits and inspections and keeps you posted with photos at every milestone.
- After
We walk the finished work with you, hand over warranties and care notes and stay on call through the first season.
Know the names.
The makers, products and standards we reference when we talk about compact through-floor lifts.
The compact home connection
We treat Stiltz’s through-floor Duo Alta and larger Trio Alta as different retrofit briefs. Floor openings, approach space and actual mobility-device fit need a site-specific review.
- Map the route through both floors
- Coordinate structural work and fire requirements
- Test user and mobility-device dimensions against the exact model
Manufacturer and product names belong to their owners and link to official information. No affiliation or authorized-provider status is implied.
Good to know.
How long does the work take?
It depends on scope. Your written proposal sets out the schedule for compact through-floor lifts, and your project manager keeps it current from the first day on site to the final walkthrough.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. Whenever the work needs them, we prepare the drawings, pull the permits and coordinate engineering and inspections, and your schedule shows every sign-off.
What happens after the assessment?
Within a few days you receive a written scope, a price range and a proposed schedule. Nothing moves to contract until you approve the plan.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should the site assessment and written scope establish for compact through-floor lifts?
- How do available space, structural requirements, user needs and applicable codes affect the lift options?
- Which engineering, permits, inspections, emergency arrangements and ongoing service costs are included?
Before you book.
Every project starts on site. You receive a written scope, a schedule and a price range before design begins, and nothing moves to contract until you approve it. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after your site assessment.
“Compact through-floor lifts solved a house we thought we would have to leave. Installed in a week, no shaft needed.”
