How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Our assessment reviews structure, available space, access needs and the applicable codes; engineering, permits, inspections, load limits and installation specifications are reviewed by a licensed engineer before we commit to a date.
Your project, step by step
- Before
We visit the site, measure, photograph and talk through what you want the work to do. You receive a written scope and a price range before anything is designed or ordered.
- During
A named project manager runs the schedule, handles permits and inspections and keeps you posted with photos at every milestone.
- After
We walk the finished work with you, hand over warranties and care notes and stay on call through the first season.
Know the names.

The tailored traditional cab
Residential Elevators’ Luxury Lift traction platform and Savaria Eclipse are our two machine-roomless references. Our specialist compares drive systems, hoistway dimensions and finish options with you.
- Reserve shaft, pit and overhead dimensions early
- Coordinate door and gate clearances
- Confirm emergency lowering, communications and service access

Good to know.
How long does the work take?
It depends on scope. Your written proposal sets out the schedule for traditional home elevators, and your project manager keeps it current from the first day on site to the final walkthrough.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. Whenever the work needs them, we prepare the drawings, pull the permits and coordinate engineering and inspections, and your schedule shows every sign-off.
What happens after the assessment?
Within a few days you receive a written scope, a price range and a proposed schedule. Nothing moves to contract until you approve the plan.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should the site assessment and written scope establish for traditional home elevators?
- How do available space, structural requirements, user needs and applicable codes affect the lift options?
- Which engineering, permits, inspections, emergency arrangements and ongoing service costs are included?
Before you book.
Every project starts on site. You receive a written scope, a schedule and a price range before design begins, and nothing moves to contract until you approve it. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after your site assessment.
“Traditional home elevators felt out of reach until the assessment. Drawings, permits and a schedule that held.”
