How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Our specialist measures the staircase and reviews transfers, user needs and the installation environment; suitability, load limits and clearances are confirmed before ordering, and we welcome input from an occupational therapist when one is involved.
Your project, step by step
- Before
We measure on site, talk through what you need and send a written quote with product options within two business days.
- During
Installation is booked in a window that suits you. Our crew protects your home, works cleanly and talks you through anything that changes on the day.
- After
We show you the finished work, hand over the care notes and any warranties, and stay a text away for anything that comes up.

Handicare by Savaria
The Handicare 1100 straight stairlift. Its rail fixes to the stair treads rather than the wall, so it goes in within a day and comes out cleanly when you no longer need it.
Official informationManufacturer and product names belong to their owners and link to official information. No affiliation or authorized-provider status is implied.
Good to know.
How long does the work take?
Your written quote states the schedule for rental & short-term options. Most installs are finished in a day or two, and we confirm the arrival window by text the day before.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes, whenever the work needs a permit. We pull it and book the inspection, and both are on your quote before anything is scheduled.
What happens after the assessment?
Within two business days you receive a written quote with product options and a schedule. Nothing is ordered until you approve it.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should the site assessment and written scope establish for rental & short-term options?
- How will staircase measurements, transfers, seating needs and household access determine suitability?
- What verified load limits, installation changes, battery behavior, servicing and call-out arrangements should I confirm?
Before you book.
Every project starts on site. You receive a written scope, a schedule and a price range before design begins, and nothing moves to contract until you approve it. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after your site assessment.
