How it works.
What to expect, start to finish.
Our specialist measures the staircase and reviews transfers, user needs and the installation environment; suitability, load limits and clearances are confirmed before ordering, and we welcome input from an occupational therapist when one is involved.
Your project, step by step
- Before
Tell us what prompted the visit when you book. We confirm by text and arrive with everything we need to measure, test and photograph.
- During
We look at everything that matters, explain what we find as we go and answer every question on the spot. There is no charge and no obligation.
- After
Within two business days you receive a written summary with photos, your options and a price range for each. Nothing is scheduled until you decide.

A rail made for the staircase
Bruno Elite Curved provides a reference for a rail designed around turns, landings and parking positions. The assessment includes how the rider approaches and leaves the chair.
- Measure the stair and landing geometry
- Discuss swivel, footrest and parking options
- Check seated fit and transfer needs with the user
The straight-flight edit
We compare a Handicare 1100 straight system with Stannah seating and finish choices, and keep remaining stair clearance, control access and everyday use visible in the decision.
- Show folded and operating positions
- Review armrest controls and seatbelt use
- Confirm exact local model and option availability

Good to know.
How long does the work take?
The site visit itself takes about 60 minutes. If it leads to work, your written summary includes a schedule for each option.
Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. When the work that follows needs a permit or an engineer’s sign-off, we prepare the drawings, pull the permits and book the inspections.
What happens after the assessment?
Within two business days you receive a written summary with photos, your options and a price range for each. Nothing is scheduled until you decide.
Questions worth bringing.
- What should the site assessment and written scope establish for seating & transfer assessment?
- How will staircase measurements, transfers, seating needs and household access determine suitability?
- What verified load limits, installation changes, battery behavior, servicing and call-out arrangements should I confirm?
Before you book.
Every project starts on site. You receive a written scope, a schedule and a price range before design begins, and nothing moves to contract until you approve it. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after your site assessment.
